Message According to the fsm you can skim a total of .008thou off of the motor. If they skimmed .005 off of the heads then you still have .003 they could of removed if they had to (assuming your motor hasnt been skimmed prior). When rebuilding my motor the heads had to be skimmed .004 but not the block. The aluminum heads wear/distort easier than the block. You should be fine.
